These capabilities are available via the “Check Distributor Stock” function located directly on the Vishay homepage.

Visitors to the Vishay web site can now enter a part number in the “search” window at the top right of the homepage, select “Check Distributor Stock”, and click the “search” button to see the quantity available by distributor and the geographic region in which the inventory is located. These capabilities show many distributors offering shopping cart e-commerce options directly linked to their sites. This enables prospective buyers to transact purchases directly over the web with Vishay’s channel partners.

Other options include the ability to request an RFQ for a part, should that be required by a government agency or other party. Vishay’s new capabilities for checking product inventory and generating quotes greatly enhance the functionality of Vishay’s web site and expand its e-commerce options.
