The News:
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announces the release of the new CDHV, a surface-mount chip resistor divider with a small size profile that achieves outstanding ratio stability under high voltages.
Features:
Voltages up to 3 kV
Excellent voltage coefficient down to 5 ppm/V
Resistance values of 1 megohm to 20 gigohms
Broad range of standard and custom resistance ratios from 10:1 to 500:1
Outstanding ratio stability of <0.03 % at full power and 70 °C at 2,000 hours
Absolute resistance tolerance options range from ±20 % down to ±1 %, with ratio tolerance options to 1 %
Temperature coefficient of resistance is available to ±100 ppm/°C over a –55 °C to +150 °C operating range
Small 2512 case with choice of top-only or wraparound terminations
The Key Applications:
Voltage division in high-voltage power supplies, inverters, regulators, and control circuits
End products to include power supplies and inverter controls
The Key Benefits:
Provides less than 0.03 % stability in a broad range of resistance ratios from 10:1 to 500:1, even under high voltages up to 3 kV
Facilitates space savings for circuit designers with small 2512, surface-mount case
Availability
Samples and production quantities of the new CDHV are available now, with lead times of six to eight weeks for larger orders.
